Folkloric Song & Dance

The “heart and soul” of every festival since the inception of PolArt has been the Polish song and dance groups from Australia and New Zealand and PolArt 2018 Brisbane will be no exception! Three colourful folkloric concerts showcasing the vast diversity of Polish regional folkloric costumes, songs and dances will be staged in the Playhouse – Queensland Performing Arts Centre (https://www.qpac.com.au/visiting/our-venues/playhouse/), and two performances in the Concert Hall – Redlands Performing Arts Centre (http://www.rpac.com.au/venues/Pages/ConcertHall.aspx), each perfomance culminating in a spectacular synchronised finale featuring over two hundred performers on stage at the same time.

Negotiations are underway to also stage a major folkloric concert on the Gold Coast.
