Staged within the State Library of Queensland precinct, the PolArt 2018 Brisbane Children’s Day will be an opportunity for the local children of Brisbane and their families to experience Polish culture and traditions. Approximately 100 child performers of Polish heritage from around Australia and New Zealand will feature in a free variety concert throughout the day. A wide range of Polish art and craft stalls, music, short films and children’s books will be showcased affording community members of all ages an experience they will never forget. Folkloric dance workshops, Polish nursery rhyme musical games and traditional storytelling will ensure children are immersed in the overall cultural theme.
Polish food stalls will expose attending public to the delights of Polish cuisine.
The Brisbane community itself respects and enjoys the diverse multicultural nature of its people, and events such as this one further promotes goodwill and harmony.
The following children’s dance groups will be performing at PolArt 2018 Brisbane:
Mały Brisbane (Brisbane)
Orlęta (Wellington, NZ)
